E. PLACE OF ATTACK. S.E. of Hardelot.

F. WEATHER. Clear, visibility good.

GENERAL REPORT.

Flying as Blue 2, at 27,000ft, I had just crossed the French coast near Hardelot, I observed a F.W.190 approaching me at an angle of 80deg. and it came right across my sights. I fired a burst with cannon from 350 yards and distinctly saw strikes on the fuselage. The e/a. went down turning to the right and I followed my leader. I claim 1 F.W.190 as damaged. Cine Camera gun was carried and exposed.

Rounds fired:- Cannon. 13 rounds 1st.
